The New England Dream Center provides the unemployed of Massachusetts with the tools and guidance to find a lasting, fulfilling career. Through a well-managed approach and with passion and commitment, the Dream Center inspires neglected, abused and displaced individuals to change their lives with innovative workforce training programs.

The interplay of structure and love renders our job training programs effective.

We run our workforce training programs like a business – with some generating revenue for the Dream Center. And yet, we balance this businesslike model with the warmth of the passionately committed people who work here. Programs include R.E.A.C.H. (Reinforcing Employment skills And Coaching for a Healthy future), the New Dream Salon, Master Tradesman program, and our Internship program. Our innovative approach extends beyond the programs to help ensure strategic employment in which the participant stays fulfilled and economically satisfied. We serve anyone who is willing to put in the effort to change their employment situation. Whether reeling from economic turmoil or lack of marketable skills, anyone – from any background or position in life – can find the skills, job training and support they need at the Dream Center. Imagine someone with a dream to better their employment situation – a friend, a neighbor, you – a person who has a place to go and connections to the people who will help make that dream a reality. Why Our Programs Work

• Nearly every donated dollar goes directly to program operations:
  • We benefit from a generous matching gift earmarked for administrative services.
  • The Dream Center’s main facility and its day-to-day expenses are generously provided by Liberty Churches.
  • An army of passionate volunteers from many regions of the U.S. serves without monetary compensation.
• Careful screening of each client for dedication and willingness to work hard tends to predict success.
• Customized programs for each person draw from all components identified as necessary to finding a good job.
• Individual attention and love can create an environment of trust and dependability, which increases the likelihood of finding lasting employment.
• Balancing structure and love is highly effective.
• Services are provided with full scholarships, removing a common obstacle for low- or no-income participants.
• Integrated services of all Dream Center programs enable participants to choose from more than one program.
  For example:
  • A single mother returning to the workforce is able to attend R.E.A.C.H. because she has our Social Day Care program take care of her dependent mother.
  • Transportation is arranged within the scope of each program, utilizing our fully-accessible Dream Center Shuttles.

At the Dream Center, participants go through the programs together, as peers, learning from and supporting each other throughout their journeys.
