Imagine: A child in need who now has a place to go every Saturday – our Ignite program – where the same welcoming people can be counted on to be there. A young adult from a wealthy family who is wrestling with addiction. A recent high-school graduate learning how to find a job in our R.E.A.C.H. program while our Social Day Care program watches her dependent mom. The high-school dropout training to be a carpenter in our Tradesman program. The single mother returning to the workforce who learns cosmetology in our Salon program. A couple learning how to navigate their new neighborhood and find work, in R.E.A.C.H., while entrusting their neurologically challenged adult son to our Adult Day Health program. A homeless person who knows they can always get a good meal at our weekend Diner program. The family with a limited budget able to attend wholesome performing arts shows at no cost at our DC Arts Center.
