Our Eleen Bard Foster Care program provides homes to licensed foster care organizations for children suffering from domestic or behavioral problems in the hope of encouraging a stable future for both the children and their families. Care lasts as long as necessary: from a few days to a few years. Workimg with our social service partners, we aim to provide love and structure for children who may never have known either – in an environment that encourages personal growth and confidence.

Foster families go through in-depth, monthly training in order to best meet the needs of the children they will be taking in. The new family unit is supported throughout their time together by weekly or daily meetings with case managers and various forms of therapy and counseling. Depending on each child’s needs, they receive therapy and/or counseling as well.

Many of these kids have never had a safe environment in which to blossom into self-assured, contributing members of society. Through our foster care program, they do. And kids associated with the New England Dream Center have access to all the love and support the Dream Center’s other programs provide.
